website and services (collectively, the "Services"), whether you are an individual preparing for
an interview or a business streamlining your hiring process. By accessing or using the Services,
you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
Our Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the Services, you
represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
2. Account Registration and Security
- You may need to register for an account to access certain features of the Services. You
agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration
process.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
(username and password) and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other
breach of security.
3. Permitted Use and Restrictions
- Individual Users: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable,
revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial interview
preparation purposes.
- Business Users: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable,
revocable license to access and use the Services for your internal business hiring and
recruitment processes.
- Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms.
- Engage in spamming, phishing, or any other unauthorized data scraping or collection.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services, including our
content, tools, and intellectual property, without our express written permission.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- We offer both free and paid subscription plans, which may vary in features and usage limits.
Specific pricing and features for each plan are detailed on our website.
- Individual Users: Our "Get Started for Free" option offers limited
features. Premium access provides advanced features.
- Business Users: We offer "5 Free Interview Invitations when you sign up"
and charge "£9.99 per Invitation afterward."
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed through a third-party payment processor
(e.g., Stripe) in accordance with the terms and conditions of that processor. You agree to
provide accurate and complete payment information.
- Refunds: All fees are generally non-refundable, except where legally
mandated.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our Services. We
will provide you with advance notice of any price changes, and your continued use of the
Services after such notification constitutes your agreement to the new rates.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality on the Services, including but not limited to text,
graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software,
are the exclusive property of Squrrel or its licensors and are protected by international
copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary
rights laws. You retain ownership of any content you create or submit through the Services.
However, by submitting content, you grant Squrrel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free,
transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative
works from, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Services.
6. Fair Usage Policy
To ensure optimal service quality for all users, premium plans may be subject to a fair usage
policy, which may cap interactions (e.g., 20 interviews per month for individual users or a
reasonable number of invitations for businesses beyond the initial free ones, as determined by
Squrrel in its sole discretion). Exceeding these limits may result in reduced service quality,
temporary suspension, or an offer to upgrade your plan.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Squrrel makes no warranties,
express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or suitability of the
Services for any particular purpose. While our AI aims to provide helpful insights and
preparation, we do not guarantee employment, successful interviews, or perfect hiring decisions.
Users are advised to verify content and exercise their own judgment before relying on it for
critical decisions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Squrrel shall not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues,
whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible
losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services;
(b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; (c) any content obtained from the
Services; and (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or
liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales,
without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection
with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and
Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a
revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking
effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By
continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be
bound by the revised terms.
